Shropshire Youth Support Trust
For many years, we have supported this pioneering charity, providing funding and our professional time. This Trust offers support for young people who are not in education, employment, or training but have ideas and ambitions for their future.
As founding members of their ‘ASYSTORS Panel’ we offer our time, advice and the funding to young people deserving an opportunity to set up their own business. In the past 7 years we have seen and advised over 80 candidates and donated to many of these.
Supporting the town
In 2023 Morris Property entered into exciting new territory: a two-year partnership with Shrewsbury Town Football Club as front of shirt sponsors. Our two organisations share a passion for Shrewsbury with our heritage and strong sense of family values. We feel we are two local institutions who have shown we know how to grow, to change and adapt in order to be successful.
Property and the Schools Appeal
The Property team love to inspire youngsters to learn about their built environment and donated mini hard hats, high-vis vests, wheel barrows, tarpaulins and paint brushes to St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy in Wolverhampton recently to show the youngsters how a construction site looks and feels.
Morris Scholarship
In 2019 in celebration of our 150th year anniversary, we were proud to award a three-year Morris Scholarship at University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS) to Paige Eades who subsequently graduated with a first-class honours degree in Business Studies and joined our business in May 2022.
As part of our dynamic Marketing team today, Paige is our social media queen ensuring we engage with business and consumer audiences for the products and services we offer within the company.
