STFC kit launch with Morris Property
Inspired by history, and built for today.
It’s the kit we’ve all been waiting for! As Morris Property are the new front-of-shirt sponsors, we were delighted to meet club legend Graham Turner last week and see the kit for the first time.
We joined Graham for the launch at the club alongside men’s first-team players Dan Udoh, Morgan Feeney and Travis Hernes as well as women’s players Maddie Jones, Anna France and Grace Layton.
Our super fan Becky Lucas from Morris Property and her son Harry Pugh were the first fans to get their hands on a new shirt – with Harry overjoyed to get the top and meet his favourite player, Dan Udoh.
It’s 50 years since Graham Turner first joined Shrewsbury Town so in his honour, STFC joined forces with Umbro to create a kit with a nod to the 1970s. The retro design is similar to shirts worn by Graham throughout the decade and is already proving a hit with fans.
Graham joined Shrewsbury Town as a player in 1973 and went on to make more than 350 league appearances. He became manager in 1978 with the team going on to be crowned Third Division champions that year.
