Donation to The Movement Centre
Katie and Claire from our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team recently visited The Movement Centre at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen. They were delighted to meet Curtis Langley and his dedicated team, handing over a donation of £250 to support the charity’s invaluable work.
The Movement Centre is renowned for providing life-changing physiotherapy to children, specializing in targeted training that transforms futures. Their services cater to children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other conditions, helping them develop new skills through increased strength and control of movement.
During their visit, our team had the opportunity to join an assessment session with one of the centre’s therapists and a five-year-old patient who had recently undergone a hip operation. They were profoundly moved by the level of support and personalized advice provided to the child and his family, who benefit from fully funded treatment every eight weeks at the centre.
The £250 donation will contribute towards the purchase of essential equipment and the delivery of vital services, ensuring that more children receive the life-enhancing care they need. Katie and Claire expressed their admiration for the work being done at The Movement Centre and the positive impact it has on the lives of children and their families.
