Sabrina Meek, one of our CSR team was delighted to meet Claire Purcell from SYA (Shropshire Youth Association) to hand over our £1,000 donation and hear all about the charity’s progress with their brand new building in Monkmoor, Shrewsbury.

Sabrina, who is part of our Finance team at Welsh Bridge, said: “Each year our colleagues vote on a number of charitable, local community causes to support and with April signalling the new financial year for us, this was our first donation of 24/5. We are sponsoring the Social Room in the fantastic new SYA facility which will provide an inspiring, safe and fun place for local young people to enjoy.”

SYA’s mission is to provide Shropshire’s youth with a chance to discover their confidence, make friends and create fond memories and the new Monkmoor building will provide a fabulous new space for Shrewsbury.
