We are pleased to announce that Kirsty Russell has joined us as Finance and Administration Apprentice at our Welsh Bridge offices in Shrewsbury.

With a background in hospitality, Kirsty decided to pivot her career towards finance, choosing to join Morris & Company due to our established presence in Shrewsbury.

Kirsty’s apprenticeship will span three years, during which she will be attending the Shrewsbury Colleges Group. She will participate in weekly lessons at the London Road Campus, starting this September. The curriculum will cover various topics, including banking and insurance, financial accounting, and business finance.

The apprenticeship will provide Kirsty with the essential qualifications and industry-specific training necessary to excel in the finance sector. She has expressed enthusiasm for the structured nature of finance work, appreciating the clarity of processes and systems.

Since joining, Kirsty has found the Finance Department to be incredibly supportive, with team members eager to assist and guide her through her daily tasks. We are confident that Kirsty will thrive in this environment and look forward to her contributions to the team.
