Corbrook jumps down the rabbit hole into Wonderland for summer tea party
Residents at a Morris Care's Corbrook Park nursing home enjoyed a tea party with a difference as staff served up an Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon.
Carers became the Mad Hatter, Alice, Dormouse, White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts for a ‘Madhatters’ end of summer tea party whilst the kitchen provided the buffet high tea.
Morris Care raises sense awareness on dementia training
This month Morris Care are running innovative training for staff by restricting their senses with goggles, mittens and ear plugs to help them gain a greater understanding of dementia.
The initiative is part of Morris Care’s ‘In Their Shoes’ campaign at our homes in Shropshire and Cheshire which aims to give a different perspective on dementia for September’s World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.

Morris Care's Isle Court Nursing Home celebrated summer in style last week with a BBQ with a difference, on the lawn with friends and family.
The event featured live music from local duo Misty Duo as well as a dog show and a raffle.

Morris Care has unveiled a commemorative bench in memory of a popular, nature-loving Shrewsbury man.
Kenneth Quin was a resident at the Morris Care’s Isle Court Nursing Home on two occasions over the last three years but passed away late last year.
